I consider Crossroads family! The families, the teachers, and the staff are kind and loving. Patient and so very proud of these kids ... My husband has been asked to relocate several times and we say no. We will stay at Crossroads until our son graduates at all costs ...

Our son did fine in public school for the first 3 years. Then he started getting bullied for his personality differences and deficient school work. He was diagnosed with ADHD and dysgraphia and the public school couldn't deal with it. Even though we are in a very good school district they were still ill-equipped to deal with our son's differences. After a horrible 6th grade experience we discovered Crossroads School for 7th grade. We wish we had started looking earlier to save a lot of grief. The staff at Crossroads worked with our son to develop his individual curriculum and worked with him to do his homework efficiently. They do this for all their students. Public school can't do that. He flourished in 7th and 8th grade. He developed responsibility for his work. His self esteem changed from in the dumps to fantastic. His interaction with other students reversed from negative to positive. It was a relief for all of us to see this turn around. Sadly, Crossroads did not have high school at that time and our son went to a private school that did not do what they promised. If we had not had Crossroads for those 2 years our son would have been worse off. We can't thank Crossroads School enough for helping our son develop into a productive young man.

Please look elsewhere. The owner will tell you whatever you want to hear, even if untrue just to keep revenue flowing. Even if it is clear that it isn't working out for your child, she will insist otherwise so you keep paying. Check out Briarwood, Joy School, Monarch, etc. All they care about is expanding the school and the kids currently enrolled are no longer top priority.

Lots of moms who used to rave about the school don't anymore. Lots of people are pulling their kids out and going elsewhere. One mom I know said her daughter really thrived at first, but the administration has really lost its focus. They don't return calls or emails and parents are left without answers to their questions.

I can tell you, the reader, that the negative post submitted by a supposed teacher is bogus. I do not know who this person is but they certainly have no idea what they are talking about. I have been at this school for 14 years and can tell you it is more than a little remarkable! The teachers and staff are the most dedicated people I have ever met and each and everyone of them see their position as vocation rather than just a job. The students thrive in a manner that I have not seen in any other school. Each one goes on with the knowledge, confidence and courage to succeed. Do not be influenced by one bad apple. There is a reason that once here teachers do not leave - this is one amazing school!
