I wish there was an option to put negative stars... this school is and always will be the worst military school out there. Sure their ads look cool, you see all the ziplines and obstacle courses and smiling faces but behind all of that is a cold, dark truth. The facility is not even fit for bugs to live in and sick cadets are not a rare sight. Cadets are allowed to go out into town for the weekends and are checked by other cadets when they return to campus allowing for drugs and other contraband to be brought into the school. The school imprints this idea of worthlessness to the cadets and instead of breaking them down and building them back up, they just leave them broken, DO NOT send your children here... it will be the worst mistake of your life.

MMA offers young men of today an opportunity to learn and grow in ways that regular schools may not offer. I suggest that you look at the transformation video on line and then get in touch with PTO parents if you want to talk to people who have had their son at MMA . Reviews are great but I suggest you talk to people. Everyone has their own reasons for why they choose MMA and I will tell you that our experience has shown that this school offers young men a chance to really find their way, it shows them the value of hard work, integrity and character and offers them a skill set that will carry them through college and beyond. Academics are solid - but what really is impressive are the life skills, the leadership opportunities and exposure to really neat programs that involve everything from flying airplanes to community service ranging from planting trees to teaching elementary school children how to read Please talk to people who are there - ask questions and go see the school for yourself. Quite impressive - and not for everyone - but it sure is a great place!

In theory the "idea" of the MMA is sound. I read a few of the reviews talking about embracing responsibility and MMA being "what one makes of it." However, the couple of years that my son spent there he was exposed to: tobacco, drugs, bad language, bullying, stealing, filth at various levels, etc. True enough, his grades got better and he received higher rankings, rewards, etc. and got along with everyone. With that being said, my wife and I (as well as his brothers and sisters) wish we had never exposed him to the place and wish that someone would have enlightened us when we were considering it. He returned with a different value system that he was never exposed to before and has caused him a great deal of problems since. Think hard if you are considering sending your boy to MMA. There are many good schools out there and in my opinion MMA is definitely not one of them. WE MADE A MISTAKE. Bon Chance!

We sent our son to mma six years ago. He stayed there for 2+ years. We very much wish we had never even heard of mma. It was a very bad choice and we regret it to this day. We have so many complaints that I would not know where to start. In short, I would NEVER recommend the place to anyone

Horrible. Academics are a joke. Do your homework to get a free ride 4.0 and far above depending on whether they have honor courses available.
