The first thing you will notice when visiting the school is the awesome wooden Pelicans outside the front entrance. You will quickly experience those Pelicans are the most exciting things happening at this campus. When you ring the school door bell you will be greeted with a muffled and depressing "left door" . Once inside you walk to an office where no one cares to get up or look up unless you interject for assistance. Office staff is unfriendly and not helpful at all. PTO is basically 3 parents (the officers) and 6 rotating teachers at meetings. i had lunch with my daughter in the lunchroom one day and it was disturbing. So many ill behaved and unsupervised children; the drill seargent type PE coach circulates the lunchroom yelling at kids and making the loud classes stand with their hands in the air, until he says they can sit down. His method and attempts are clearly not working. the PTO may want to consider focusing more on securing lunchroom monitor volunteers, in addition to fundraising for the school. Learning in classrooms seems adequate but it is apparent clasroom management is a challenge at Parker.

Love the school. Has a great staff. Both my children attend and love it there. They have been wanderful with my adhd children and very helpful with having a child psychologist on the grounds.

I have four children that attend this school they all enjoy it there. Its very comforting to know my children are in a very positive learning enviroment. With many wonderful teachers and staff members around them helping them on their daily journey. Truely Thankyou All, Ms. Tina Carper
