I attended this school from 2010-2011. It was my 6th grade year. Terrible students. Horrific teachers. I had a math teacher that didn't teach correctly. Homeroom teacher that scared the daylights out of me. English teacher that should have retired along time ago. And I had two science teachers. The first one could not handle the classroom, so she moved to another grade level. The second one never taught a lesson, but instead talked about his private life, which included his wife, children, and Mercedes Benz. This is no lie. I would never recommend this school... for anyone. Also, this school has a far too small cafe.

Horrible experience all year. The principle is uninvolved with the children. She believes there is a chain of command to follow when trying to reach her. The only time she emailed me back was when I attached the fwisd superintendent to my emails and then it was only to ask why he was included. Never once did she address the concerns over bullying with me. My child was hospitalized after going through a year of bullying. Even had children saying they had posted unauthorized videos on Utube of her while at school. I could not even set up an appt with the principle the first time I called till the following week due to TEA being in the building so of coarse we never did meet. I have nothing good to say about the leadership this school is under. My child WILL NOT attend another year here!

My child came late in the year from another state with a way different curriculum.Needless to say it was a difficult transition, which was only made worse by the lack of guidance for not only my child but also for me as a parent. The other students I was told over and again were always disrespectful of the teachers and other students and they have a long list of students recommended for retention hmmm wonder why. This school and Lowery Road Elementary have made me seriously consider home schooling.I mean if a child is so taken aback by language used by students toward each other and teachers and the lack of reaction by the adults in charge there is a problem.

This school could be more involved in what the students are learning. Teachers are fairly helpful with the students and understand when a student needs help, although there are a few teachers that has a lack of sensitivity. The principal is not that involved with the students, my child has gone there since the 6th grade and I have not even met or seen the principal.
