I loved the principal and the teachers at this school. They were the only ones that got my kid to pass the math stars test in three years. It's the kids that are the problem. With the government taking away punishment from schools they have no recourse. The kids are bullies.

This is a really good school with good teaching techniques and i think i should know because i am a student there and i really do enjoy going to school there. We do have our bullies but for the most part there pretty nice unless you do something to them to get on their bad side. So if your looking for a school in alvinisd near pearland and manvel i suggest this junior high for grades 6-8 for your kids

This school has the potential to be a good school. However it is a haven for school bullies. I've witnessed over a 2 year period where the victims of bullies have been punished and bullies have received no punishment at all at times depending on if the bully's parents work for the district or a near-by district or not. Unfortunately despite having a new campus and some great teachers, the entire district has no common sense in regards to right and wrong. Perhaps the zero tolerance policy has replaced common sense At a glance you would think this school is in a good area. It used to be when it was on the other side of 288. Since the new school opened up the dynamics changed and they now ship students from Arcola and other lower income areas which has it's issues. Some of the nicer people you would meet come from those areas but also come the under-parented thugs that wreak havoc on education minded students. I gave leadership a low score because the bottom line is the buck stops there. If you have leaders that overlook common sense to adopt a doctrine and throw common sense out the window you end up hurting the student base as a whole while covering your rear.
