As a former alumni, teacher and now parent, I can tell you this school is prayerfully trying to get every aspect right. I have taught in local public schools as well and it's not as if a Christian School can keep out all the negative cultural influences affecting kids but they do an effective job in providing structure for values and support for teachers to instill values on top of education - and as one who can speak from having taught in both, I want my kids at MTCS. Teachers care and will bend over backwards to help, among the student body are many, many solid, moral kids with good families who support my own children there - we really do have a good surround of people and families that care for our kids and those households are by in large healthy and provide a good example for my children. My kids are (crazy but honest) happy to be in school there and for me, that is reason to pay for it - they simply love being there and the overall relationships they have and I see forming in their lives has become something that I just don't see replicated easily or often in other schools. We thank GOD for the school!

"I am so glad I have so much space to share how truly horrifying attending this school was. This school is a cash-grab hiding behind a veil of ""Training for Eternity."" Being a student at this school damaged my relationship with God, did not prepare me for the real world, did not offer me opportunities for growth, and ignores blatant bullying. There are hardly any AP, honors, or dual-enrollment classes, although they call themselves a college prep school. I was more challenged in the public schools I attended. The arts are greatly underfunded and ignored. There are few clubs or other opportunities for involvement other than sports. The education suffers due to ill equipped educators and unqualified adults being put into teaching positions. While parents, students, teachers, and the school facility itself are all issues, the real problem is the administration. Every single thing this school does or offers feels like they are blood letting your wallet. This school is a dark spot in my life, and if you can avoid it, do so like the plague."

I do not have children at this school and did not attend this school. I am writing this review because I witnessed very bad behavior and bad sportsmanship by the student section at a recent high school football game. Students were loudly heckling the other team's players, coaches and parents non-stop, were foul mouthed and extremely non-Christian. I have never witnessed such horrible unsportsman-like conduct by a student section of any other private school, including non-Christian schools. Teachers and leaders here need to step up and teach these students Christian values in all situations, including sports.

As a former student now alumni, I do not have enough room on this page to tell you all of the amazing, life-changing experiences MTCS has to offer. I came to MTCS in the 9th grade nervous, but excited to see how my high school career would take shape. I was immediately taken in by my classmates and formed strong relationships with my teammates and coaches when I joined the soccer team and that helped make my transition from public school to private school seamless. It did not take me long to realize that much more than just my academic health was being cultivated and nurtured. Chapel, daily bible class, prayer groups lead by teachers, and service opportunities in the community are just a few of the examples of how MTCS cares for the spiritual health of each student. The teachers at MTCS became much more than just teachers to me. They became my advocates, my supporters, my prayer warriors, my mentors and my caregivers. Having teachers and the staff caring about more than just academics helped shape the whole person I am. I was able to clep out of two semesters of Beginner Spanish, one semester of English and take College algebra while I was still in high school because the teachers prepared me to succeed and cared about more than just academics. The instilled confidence and empowered me to become the person and student I wanted to be. There are very few schools who are capable and able of serving the whole student Spirit, Mind and Body. MTCS is one of those places. MTCS is a life-changing school and I urge you to come take a tour and talk with our teachers so you can find out for yourself what MTCS has to offer you and your family!

My child is new to MTCS this year. She was instantly embraced by the faculty and students. This school has great teachers. There is a family feel throughout the building!
