My experience has been mostly positive. Last year, my daughter had Spanish and had used Core Focus and home to study and work on assignments and take tests. Meanwhile the advanced classes were not challenging her. She scored 100% for every class for final grades. She currently has 2 credits and a 4.0 GPA. If I would've talked to the principal, she would've intervened, especially if the teachers never took action on my request. However, with her already busy with afterschool sports and activities, I didn't voice my concern or wishes to the principal. My daughter learned and that was what was important. They allowed her to keep a loaner computer over the summer, using their various apps and programs to maintain and work ahead. Overall, I would definitely recommend this middle school to anyone moving into Loudon County and is doing to drive. Only in city students have buses available.

As a teacher, I have witnessed the incredible amount of dedication and involvement of the teachers and principals. Every teacher is extremely smart and pushes their students to learn and enjoy each suject. The Mr. Orr and Mr. Boling ensure that the school is kept safe and that the students not only learn, but also enjoy their day at school. We all welcome parents to visit and become involved in all areas of the school. I have truly loved working at the school for the past 5 years and hope to be there many more.

Lenoir City Middle School is a wonderful school! My son went there all 3 years and now my daughter is entering her 3rd year there. I'm actively involved in PTO and the school is very open to parent involvement. Both of my kids have had great teachers. I loved the implementation of Web Grader this past year; really helped in seeing assignments and grades long before report cards are issued. Chip Orr (principal) and Greg Boling (vice-principal) are easy-going guys who really connect with the kids. Couldn't be happier! Sherry S.
