I LOVE the school and the staff so far. We are going to 2nd grade and have had zero problems.

I went to this school when I was kindergarten all the way to 3rd grade. My experience here was quite unpleasant. All of my teachers were great except for my 2nd grade one. She was very mean to me and made sure to embarrass me in front of the whole class. She even told my mom that I lifted my shirt up in front of a boy, which was definitely not true. Luckily, she had to leave in the middle of the year due to pregnancy. It wasn't just her, either. The people in the office were very rude as well. I am in high school now, so obviously this happened a long time ago, but I've heard from multiple people that the staff is still very rude and that the school is just complete trash. If I had children, I would not send them to this school.

Two sons of mine attended this school. Several troublesome things happened while they were there. First...my second grader was sent on the school bus home without my permission. Just by chance, someone was there or my 7 year old would of been left alone outside. Second... the office personal is very unfriendly and will ask the children things that office personal should not be inquiring about. Very disappointed in this school.

Overall this school is unstable. My son is in the 1st grade and in one year the Principle and Vice Principle both changed. My son also has special needs and I am very involved. I started with an overview of his history and needs from day one. This year the Teacher did not respect my requests and made no action until a meeting with the Principle 2 months into the school year. The Principle 100% agreed with the information and requests we discussed. The next week after testing i was informed that he tested 1% above where he needed to be for my intervention requests. He currently is failing and his behavior is also affected. It is very sad even with all of my effort to work with this school, seeking help from a learning center, putting him on medications and seeking behavior therapy that my son has been denied help and an education. There also have been instances where I was less than please such as the day he had to urinate on himself because the teacher ignored his raised hand and didn t let him go to the restroom; this was verified per the teacher. I will not deny there are some excellent teachers within the school. This could be a good venue for a child without needs.
