I am very saddened to report that our family has had a very terrible experience at this school. We wanted to love this school and had very high hopes for a great experience for our child. Lebanon Catholic provides sub-par education compared to ANY public institution. The administration is TOTALLY INEFFECTIVE. They totally ignore important matters by blatantly ignoring emails from parents. My child could not be happier now that we have made the switch to public school. It was seriously a nightmare!

Sending my child to Lebanon Catholic is the best decision I made. The faculty really care about the children and strive for the best. The content my child has learned, can not even compare to my other children's' public school education. This school is like a family and my child feels safe and has a deep devotion to God. The morals and values are most important and I am proud of my child's character which has been developed.

In the beginning everyone was super friendly and I was willing to pay the almost $10,000 to send my children there to receive a good education. But, things are not what they appear. Since it is a private school, the teachers believe they can say whatever they want to students. Communicating with the administration (if they ever get back to you) results in rolled eyes and judgement. We aren't catholic, and my children didn't start out at this school, but instead transferred in from public school. Because of this, the students bullied them and no one cared. Kids are rude at the middle school level, which I was expecting, but the things the teachers would say were absolutely absurd. For instance, "If you were my children, I would put you up for adoption." Or, "You guys need to work harder because I'm tired of getting emails from whiny parents about your grades." My favorite was, "Stop acting like a bunch of crackheads." When I brought this up to administration, I was told to work these issues out with the teachers. My son was chastised by his teacher for screaming and crying when he was locked alone in a bathroom. He was transported back to the school after field day without my knowledge or permission and when I complained, the administration basically told me it was my fault. Really? This school is so absurd, that I am sending my children back to Lebanon City where at least the teachers and administrators will respect and care about them.

I am a proud graduate of Lebanon Catholic. I was a student ambassador my junior and senior year. A parent taking a tour at a back to school night took me aside and told me he wanted his two children to get a quality, faith based education but his children had been bullied and mocked in their current school. I promised him that his two kids would come home their first day at Lebanon Catholic with at least one friend and that they would always feel God's love. I didn't have to worry about making such a promise, I knew and still know that I could make that same promise to ANY parent. The 1 star reviewer on this site is entitled to have an opinion and be offered a place to express their opinion. Maybe some of what they say may even ring true for some. I knew several of the "bad kids" that came to Lebanon Catholic after having some kind of issue at other schools. At the end of the academic year, 98% or more of the graduating seniors continue on to higher education, trade school or military service. That standard of excellence is not achieved by making anyone feel excluded or by forcing religion on them. Whatever situation occurred that brought them to Lebanon Catholic, good or bad, 98%!! continue to enrich themselves with further higher education or service. That is not something to scoff at. It's why my review is 5 stars.

My school is more like a family. The teachers and faculty have done everything they can to properly prepare me for college, and the "real world". I can't imagine spending 12 years of my education anywhere else. Lebanon Catholic is my home.
