The only nondenominational school I found and once I started sending my kids there I noticed the improvement in learning attitude immediately. This school made me so happy and got my son into a FREE Private Art primary school. My children have it so much better than I did at this age.

"Londonderry is by far the best school out of the three private schools we have been in (relocations). Londonderry is more of a community than a school. Parents happily donate money, supplies and time because they value the school (not because of aggressive fundraising approaches like or 1st school). My kids love Londonderry, including all of their friends and the teachers. It's not a perfect school and it's not a perfect fit, but I have learned that ""perfect"" school does not exist. Plus, it's healthy for kids to learn to cope with things hat are not perfect or not obstacle free.Although not perfect, Londonderry really listens to the needs of the parent/child community.I only wish they had a real library with a librarian and a real gymnasium. But you can't beat the most awesome playground! The kids can play in the woods, build forts, tree swing, and sandbox- with plenty of grass room to run around. (And a garden with fruits and vegetables). Their playground isn't a sterile, injury free prefabricated boring plastic play set out of fear of liability. My kid has scraped himself up building forts and on trees. No big deal! If kids don't get minor injuries in childhood play, then they grow up being risk averse and anxious without developed coping skills. Londonderry really understands child development. In addition, they get plenty of movement, exercise and outside time throughout the day. Londonderry understands the importance of movement in cognitive, intellectual, social, and motor development. They also have shorter school day than other schools we have been in (but have more days in the school year). I prefer my kids to have a 5 hour school day, with 1 week winter holiday break, shorter spring break and going a week later in the summer. Londonderry also closes for religious holidays that aren't solely Christian holidays/observances. As parents, we couldn't be happier"

We have a son and daughter at Londonderry School who started in Preschool and are now in 4th and 7th grade. Londonderry School offers the ability to learn quicker or slower depending on how they are doing at the time. They are given the freedom to grow their personality and feel comfortable within themselves, without judgements, in a close community environment. This has given them the foundation to believe in themselves and know that they can be successful in what they choose to do in life. The base qualities that we all wish we got from our School, Londonderry provides to our children. I am thankful for the wonderful teachers and staff at Londonderry School.

My son went to Londonderry after coming from a public charter school. We found the staff and the students to be a wonderfully welcoming environment which encouraged my son to grow and learn. He made close relationships to the students and staff and their families, which have lasted throughout the years. Londonderry's typical class size tends to be smaller, which allows for individualized attention to students. Parent and family involvement with the school and students is common (this is not a school where children are just dumped at the doorstep), and children of various ages have the opportunity to play and work with children of different ages and grades. The overall environment is supportive academically, socially and emotionally. Children at Londonderry learn by doing and exploring, not just rote memorization from a book or listening to lectures. When my son graduated Londonderry, he excelled in high school and graduated with honors. Today he is a wonderful young man and I attribute his life at Londonderry to the person he is today.
