Best Private Mens Prep School in PA!

Cathedral Prep was worth every penny I spent for my sons to go there! They graduated some years ago and I cannot tell you how often I am reminded of all the positive lessons they learned there. More than just the academics - It shows in their work ethic, leadership, and moral character every day. I am proud to have raised "Men of Prep."

My son received a good education at Prep. I ll never know whether what he received was worth the $30K it cost because I can never know how he would have fared at a different school. I suspect that the money spent was not worth it. The teachers at Prep are, as a whole, like those in other schools. There are some great ones and some average ones. None I would describe as "bad" and certainly none who are evil . I wish I could say the same for the administration and the guidance department. I have another child who is attending a local public school and receiving at least as good an education as my son received at Prep, at no cost other than the taxes I pay. And, unlike Prep, the public school administration has done nothing to cause me to distrust them.

We sent our first two children to public school and our last two to Cathedral Prep. There is simply no comparison in the educations. They push the boys to want to succeed and instill in them a drive that public schools do not. They not only teach the boys academics, but integrity, morals and respect. Things public schools prefer to ignore. The tuition is high, but there are many scholarships out there. My boys do NOT play sports and we were given plenty of assistance. If not, I would still insist it is worth every single penny.

Cathedral Prep is an excellent school. My son loves the school. He was a B&C student in middle school. They have challenged him academically and been very supportive. He is recieving almost all A's in honors classes. There is a lot of school spirit, pride and a tremedous alumni support. My daughter attended McDowell H.S and there is no comparison. The tuition is worth every penny spent. It is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life.
