Holy Cross Regional Catholic School Ratings & Reviews

Our three children have attended Holy Cross. The building security and Christian community have given our children, and us, peace of mind, knowing that they are in a safe school environment. The level of quality Catholic education has exceeded our expectations. Each child has been challenged to achieve academic excellence, and this was evident on their report cards, showing progress from the start of the school year to improvements at the end. The faculty works diligently to engage the students in the academic curriculum and, at the same time, to foster a love and respect for the Catholic faith. Our children continue to attend Mass regularly and live their faith daily through prayer. Our teachers work more than 40 hours per week, arriving early and staying after school every day, to prepare lessons, grade papers, and meet students. Each faculty member excels in his or her role as educator and each goes above and beyond while fulfilling extracurricular roles such as moderator of the Science Fair, Yearbook, and Garden Club. The nursing staff worked so well, on a daily basis, with our son who has a chronic medial condition. He received the very best attention and care from his nurses, teachers, and peers. Our sons, who have already graduated from Holy Cross were very well-prepared for high school and continue to maintain excellent grades. Both boys were members of Student Council and developed leadership skills while organizing school-wide events such as community service projects, gift collections, talent shows, dodge ball tournaments, 5K race, and field day. We are grateful for the faith, learning, and fun our family has experienced at Holy Cross.

I have had 4 children pass through this school in the last 14 years. At 1 point all 4 were in the building at once. 2 Boys 2 Girls. My oldest are in private high school right now (boys)and were very well prepared versus their counterparts from other schools. My youngest 2 (girls) are finishing up their final 2 years currently. While no experience is perfect rest assured that the faculty at Holy Cross seems to do their best to help students achieve their best outcomes academically, socially and spiritually. The facility is modern with a new addition including but not limited to a new lunchroom, library and computer lab. From an extracurricular standpoint there are many school sponsored sports programs and a regular schedule throughout the year of CYO dances. When initially comparing this school to the public counterpart we live in and touring both facilities the decision felt quite obvious from an intangible standpoint. Our family is glad that we have made a long term decision to invest in a quality education at Holy Cross Regional.
