The teachers are always absent, they are way behind compared to other high schools when it comes to curriculum and the substitute teachers are no good either. The staff is unprofessional and don't really care about the students. There just there to do their 9 to 5 and then get their paychecks at the end of the week. Their breakfast and lunch at the school is all that high school has going for them...smh. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone. It's the worst I have ever seen....

Chester upland school district is horrible.. they care about money more than students, no learning really occurs in the school if at all possible stay away from this school ... and what they post on website is not true most of it is to make them look good...

TERRIBLE enough said. My friends daughter was attacked by a group of girls because she didnt want to give them answers to a homework assignment. She recieved 4 snitches on her chin and had bald spots in her hair. This was so sad to hear that now she is scared of school and is now doing HS online. She will never experience highschool enivorment. I how the school changes but I doubt it.

I attended Chester High from 1982-'85 and the teachers cared as well as the parents. I had a wonderful experience and still believe that an education is available if you apply yourself and take advantage of available resources. However, with stronger community involvement and a creative student body banning together to support academics, athletics and the arts, theres no obstacles that the students of chester can't overcome to achieve success. School is very unorganized. There are too many kids and to much security. What kind of learning environment is this. When you try to call the school the line is either busy or no one returns your phone call.
