you call your school a bully free school yeah right. then why did my niece get bullied by another student on 4/22/2016?. bully free that's a real joke there. all the principal did was separate the girl who bullied my niece from her. separating the girl from my niece is not going to stop her from bullying my niece. My sister has sent a letter along with a photo of my niece's face showing the butler eagle what happened to her when another student bullied her on the playground at your so called bully free school. the girl who did that to my niece needs to be punished or something. I have a feeling that the principal didn't talk to the girls mother about what her daughter did to my niece. The BULLYING OF MY NIECE BETTER STOP NOW. Her parents will not tolerate this girl bullying their daughter.

Four children in a history of 3 schools in Butler County alone. Center Twp is the BEST! I love the principle and all the teachers. My children have excelled with their education thanks to the wonderful teachers in this school. The curriculum is well taught and yes they place emphasis on the PSSA, in turn teaching the children what is necessary nationally. The children are rewarded for good behavior and for completed homework assignments regularly. They receive an "attendance" into the party at certain times of the year if they are capable of doing this. Otherwise, if not, they will have to sit seperately outside of the reward party. This idea alone has created a great environment for the children to actually WANT to learn. GREAT TEACHERS > GREAT PRINCIPLE> GREAT SCHOOL!!!!!

We have had kids at Center Township Elem. for the last 8 years and counting and I have a lot of issues with it. The principle is horrible! We have had some major issues with him and have even had to go above him to administration to get problems resolved. I also hate the color system they have for the higher grades. They divide children by their grades and teach them all different based on how smart they think they are. It doesn't help students and actually causes some ridicule. There are also a few major security issues there. Considering homeschooling this year for sure.

THe one problem that I have with this school is that the PSSA Testing is over emphazied. The children spent way to much time learning how to take this test. If the teachers are teaching the curriculum then the children should pass the PSSA. We need to stop teaching the test. Yes we are scoring high but thats because the kids spend a month and half learning the test. Teach the curriculm and then give the test that would be true measure if we are making AYP. I am tried of my kid coming home with tons and tons of PSSA homework. Just teach the curriculm.

This is the BEST elementary school in the area, perhaps even Western Pennsylvania. This school is very parent friendly no matter who you are and the principal and teachers are the best staff around! This is my sons last year there...he will be moving up to the Junior High and he has had the time of his life at CT and as a parent, I can't wait to do it all over again with my younger ones.
