Disappointing, inadequate, has made my child lose all self confidence when doing school work.

Raleigh Hills is a fantastic K-8 school. It's high performing, and diverse in terms of ethnicity, language and social-economic backgrounds, a very unique and valuable combination. It's a collaborative school with high community involvement, with one of the most active PTOs in the district. The tech program is top notch. Even Kindergarteners get hands-on tech education. Teachers are very capable and have a lot of experience. We have quite a few male teachers, which is not common in elementary schools. I personally think it's a big plus to show our children a variety of role models. An extra bonus is this school takes 5 year olds all the way to 8th grade, so cohorts of kids grow up together and bond with each other. Kindergarteners also get 3rd grade big buddies to ease the transition. My older son has been here for 2 years since 1st grade and we are excited for our second son to start K here in the fall. RHS is somewhat a well kept secret, but I'm glad because it means less crowding for us! Remember test scores are only a small aspect of how well a school functions and educates. Both me and my husband have advanced degrees in technical disciplines and we think our kids are getting a fantastic education out at RHS.

This school has a new principal every year and the teachers change often. They are unorganized and my daughter is very unhappy here. They do nothing about bullying and they do not inform parents when they have lice outbreaks. Her third grade teacher is the worst yet. No homework so parents are completely left out of the child's education and never returns phone calls. I can't imagine this school has 8 stars. Its a low end school and I give it 4 or 5 at most. We are leaving the area to get out of this terrible school.

I have two kids at RHS K-8 at two different academic levels, and this school has been great for them. The teachers are engaged and care about the kids, and work hard to teach effectively to a wide variety of learning styles, ability level and languages. The staff is caring and committed to the work they do. Mr. Pep. is great. Parents are supportive, they volunteer, and the larger community works hard to bring a lot of great things to the school. This is a really great neighborhood school.

This is the school that recently called the POLICE because a student was playing the game "Hangman" in class! These morons said the student's innocent game posed a "threat of harm". These fools are completely out of their minds! Just another "zero tolerance, zero thought, zero accountability" school. These administrators and teachers have absolutely no business educating or providing examples for our children! This is disgusting and anyone involved in this politically correct travesty needs to lose their jobs and be banned from the education industry for life!
