Madison High School Ratings & Reviews

educators and leadership at Madison do not have their priorities straight. They do a great job of fostering inclusiveness and diversity which is a great thing but this comes at the expense of education. Madison is very easy the classes require almost no effort and students can graduate with very little critical thinking or problem solving skills that the will be able to translate to real world success. Madison also does a poor job of pushing students towards higher education and seems content to send students off to PCC or MHCC and act like its an accomplishment on their part. At the end of the day Madison is full of unmotivated students and teachers more focused on inclusiveness rather then teaching students the skills they will need to succeed in their future. Self motivated and intelligent student will be able to succeed on their own but the majority of students at Madison will just slip through the cracks

So many AP and Art offerings, inspiring teaching staff, numerous after school activities (my daughters particularly enjoyed the open and inclusive theater department). An excellent education with many extras.

My daughter just finished her freshman year. Her teachers were all very personable, responsive and complimentary of her when we saw them at conferences. She had a rough month and missed 9 days of school from illness and her teachers were helpful, concerned and allowed her the time to catch back up. She's finished the year maintaining a 4.0 GPA and is looking forward to sophomore year!!!! We're very happy with Madison!

Madison has a great staff to support and nurture students want to achieve more. The athletics department has seen some personel changes in the past years and with these hope to have break out seasons in the 2015-16 school year. I love this school and the Madison community, that works deligently to continuously improve itself.

Small class size and a teaching staff that teams up together to collaborate concepts and classwork. Many opportunities with an AVID program, great clubs and school spirit. Very easy to contact teachers through ParentVue and impromptu meetings.
