It’s ok. Front desk is very helpful, new principal is a great improvement, some teachers are wonderful, some are not. Can be a little clique-y and don’t feel like the classrooms are gender balanced. Good academics though.

Do you enjoy having your child come home crying because the TEACHER bullies them for not being "obedient like the other children"? I'm sorry my 6 year old acted out because another student was picking on him. Apparently, if you aren't a big donor in money and live in the right neighborhood, your child is useless and not worth teaching. And don't bother going to the principal. That was a waste of my time. So glad I transferred my student to Westside where his differences are embraced!

We really like the staff, but my child has 33 kids in a 4th grade class. Not a lot of 1-on-1 time available when there are that many children. No one's fault, but class size is a serious issue.

I called to see if I could find a time to tour the school and ask some questions. I spoke with Denise, who answered the phone, and she was lovely! After being shut down at another school because we had missed the informational sessions (which we didn't know about because we just moved to town), Denise really listened to what I was looking for, and then found a tour that would work for me at a time that would work for me (my husband and I both work). Thank you Denise for being so nice!

I was so disappointed in this school. After a week there, I withdrew my child and sent him to another Bend school. The teacher was unprofessional and instead of dealing with the bullies, it was easier to tell me my child's sensitivity was the issue. If you don't fit their upper middle white class mold, then they have no interest in you. I would not recommend sending your child there if they are at all unique, different, or quirky. They will squish your child's spirit and try to conform them into someone they are not. I felt like my child was not only being picked on by bullies, but by the teacher as well. It was a horrible experience and to this day my child is still traumatized from it.
