I feel differently about Putnam City schools after sending my child to this school for two year, an my self is a Putnam City Alumi since elementary. This school has no communication skills. They're unprofessional and blame the parents for their lack of educating. Every time you go into the office the principal Brenda is always talking crazy to someone's child. This is just an overall terrible school, I don't think it should be operational. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!!!!!

This school is not good anymore. The teachers yell at the children telling them to shut up. Lunch is taken from children. If one person gets in trouble the entire grade gets in trouble. The principal & staff talk about parents non stop. The kids are told if they cry about being attacked by a teacher in a rude sense to "cry me a river" . I do not recommend this school. Parents need to start recording lunches and conversations with the staff or anytime they are there. You need to talk to your kids here and make sure they understand this is not normal or ok behavior for educators.

I have two children that go there. The teachers are very involved in every student as Well as with the parents so that the child will succeed. They often send home work excersizes for the student and parent to work on together. This is by far the best elementary staff. The principle knows every student by there first and last name and is very involved in education.

I have to say that they are amazing! The school is really trying hard to improve parent involvement. The new principal is amazing!

Central Intermediate is a very loving caring environment. My daughter had a classmate pass away. Not only did her teacher call to let me know, but the school immediately took action to help the kids understand their feelings. They planted a garden in the playground and expressed their feelings. The teachers are quality and I have never had any difficulty communicating my concerns with them. It's a wonderful school!
