I attended Summit for nine years and loved my time there! I had so many teachers who loved and cared about me. Because of Summit's size, I felt like I was truly known and given the opportunity to succeed. There was never a moment where I felt overlooked or invisible. I graduated from Summit with a 4.2 GPA and scored a 31 on my ACT, and am currently attending a local university, where I'm graduating a year early because of the AP credit I earned at Summit.

I was a student at Summit for quite a while until I graduated there. The high school principal is absolutely amazing, he genuinely cares about students. I had some of the most amazing teachers, only had issues with the female elementary principal, she is horrible. She is very biased when it comes to students, she picks favorites, and she is very rude to those that don't meet her "appearance standards"(which is the nicest way I can put it). Plus she has ran off many wonderful families. Because of her I WILL NOT send my child to Summit while they are in elementary school, unless she leaves. I think it speaks volumes when the majority of the pastors at the church do not send their children there. On the other hand the sports are kind of hit or miss. The boys athletics tend to be decent but the girls sports usually have very little talent. As far as a Biblical structure, Summit does pretty good, the chapel services are good, back when I was in high school the actual Bible class was lacking, hopefully that has changed. Summit has great potential but lacks in major areas. I give it four stars because of the impact my teachers had on my life.

I've watched Summit Christian Academy grow over the past 12 years. They have weathered some growing pains and have established themselves as a great private school. The staff is highly competent and the leadership is stable and dedicated to the success of each student and faculty member. If you are looking for an alternative to public education, I recommend that you take the tour at SCA to learn more. It's a great place for children to learn and grow.

My daughter just finished her first year at SCA as a Kindergartner. We have been very happy with our decision to send her to this school. They have a great program academically and start teaching reading skills at the start of the Kindergarten year (not all schools do). They continually challenge students who excel in different areas, as well as continually work with students who struggle in different areas. They teach moral/ethical Christian values that are often lost in our society today. I find it very refreshing that these values are taught and expected to be upheld. The teacher/child ratio is low, as it should be, allowing teachers to focus on each child. In addition to all the above they also offer several team sports options keeping the traditional school spirit alive. I will continue to recommend this school to everyone looking for a great educational experience for their children.

I love this school. It is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. Mostly. The teachers are amazing, and the academics are finally up to par. When I first came here I hated it, but they have raised the standards very high and it is very enjoyable now. I am a senior & when I graduate I will have been here for 3 years. I highly recommend this school for anyone who wants a safe but fun environment. Sports are very important here, but at least we're good haha.
