While in this school I practically learned nothing, we had 3 rotations one teacher taught history the other taught science then we had a computer free time. After lunch, we went across the hall and it was same thing, but one taught math and one taught reading. We read two books that year and the rest the time we played uno or goldfish with that professor(same one who made the rattle comment). Math we learned addition and subtraction then played scrabble after we finished the one sheet they gave us (keep in mind this was 5th grade) History was a reading packet with no questions. Science was brain pop videos. There was times when both the 5 and 4th grade class would go in on of the class rooms and watch movies till lunch or till we went home. The last 3 months their we watched movies every day From when we got their till when we went home. The effects of this school and it’s failure to teach me the requirements of the state for fifth grade caused me to become a year behind the students at the school I went to for sixth grade. My mother was recommended this school by a friend who’s 2 sons were the same age as mine (they left due to moving that same year I left) I went here when Mr. Herman was principal and while guy he always took the teachers side and never made any students write down their sides of the story story if a teacher didn’t see it then it or write it in their report it did not happen. If the situations caused injury (like the time with the staple in my hand) then it was more important to gather info from the teacher and call the parent at work to pick them up waisting 30 minutes while the student bleed out (thankfully I was lucky) instead of call ambulance due to it costing money and would result in a investigation. If you want one word to describe how your kid would look back at their time there the word would be daycare. This school is a joke their a lot of better options the ability center knows tons and will help with applications if needed most of the time.

EXCELLENT!!! The most caring, compassionate, well educated and balanced staff at any school my children and now my grandchildren have ever attended in the last 20 years! They are an answer to prayer. The ancillary staff are included in this statement! The Team Philosophy, Education and Actions are cohesive throughout the building of ALL staff. They have been true Blessings for our challenged and typical kids alike!!

I love this school for my son. Its the only school where the teachers have the patience to handle his social problems and help him build himself up as a person. There are always two teachers per class as well which is wonderful. The only problem is that because of the way they teach, moving him to a different school (should we move, whathaveyou) would be an extremely difficult transition for him. I have no thoughts on leaving though.

I love this school for my daughter and how they know her behaviors and adjust with her growing. I am going to get more involved in the parent/teacher/staff meetings to be able to voice my opinion on more things.
