This school and teaching methodology is a model for our nation! A "customized" education for each and every student; not a "one-size-fits-all" approach. The annual state mandated test results confirm the success of this school; the highest results across all grades when compared to local gov't schools and @ a much lower per student cost. The PK-6 building is a repurposed 100+ year old building and the junior high is a renovated farm house. If you want more glitz and glamour, choose a new gov't school. If you want a truly unique educational foundation for your child, choose DeColores Montessori.

Outstanding school! The principal and teachers truly love each and every student and it shows each year when they get teary just talking about "their" kids. Test scores are tops. Kids get along great and everyone is included. We've been there 7 years and have never seen or heard of bullying issues. They make learning so much fun. Their students love learning and will become lifelong learners. The orchestra is far above average for their age.the kids learn on iPads and macs as well as hands on teaching tools. They are taught to be independent and critical thinkers. The kids, parents and teachers are like a family. It is a very special place.

great school- my 10 year old son actually likes to go to it and likes his teachers. Montessori system as taught here really suits my very active child and uses each child's interests to make learning more effective and fun. Alumni of this school all seem to do well academically and become good public citizens who are creative, well rounded individuals.
