Our son switched from a Milford in 8th grade to start high school at CCDS. He is graduating this year. Best decision we ever made. He went from being "not" in the "in crowd", to having a large group of friends. He considers his whole class to be his friends. Senior class is less than 60 kids. Being smart is not a stigma at CCDS.Great academics, team sports is greatly encouraged, caring teachers and staff. Diverse student body, but everyone is included. He is graduating this year and in 4 years I have not heard of one major discipline problem. Better food at school then we make at home.He considers Country Day his home, and is already talking about how he will miss it. It is expensive, but well worth it.

My daughter has been attending CCDS for 11 yrs now. It is a great school! After our initial tour of the school prior to DD entering K, my husband and I looked at each other and said, "This is the kind of school I would have wanted to attend!" The teachers and staff are amazing and truly enjoy their callings to teach. The school is very diverse (20-some% --- both ethnically and economically). CCDS has a challenging curriculum, but there is no "teaching to the test"! The students really love their school and parents are very supportive of the school. A wonderful setting for children to learn!

We are very happy at CCDS. The school genuinley care about our children. They make every provision to help our children to be successful.

If you have time to spend for homework with your child, it's great. If not, there isn't much support for children who struggle. They aren't great with learning issues or documentation of what works and what doesn't for your child. The cost was not worth the value.

We are beginning our sixth year at Cincinnati Country Day School and live in the community in which the school is located. Six years ago, my husband and I moved our oldest child who was entering sixth grade from a well respected public school to CCDS. We weren't unhappy at the local school. We felt it was our obligation, as parents, to provide our children with the best education possible. We were so pleased with CCDS that we moved our other two children to CCDS, too. What we found at CCDS was an environment that supports excellence in education. It is "cool" to be smart. The faculty truly care about the children and support the children in the classroom, on the athletic field, and in personal interests. Classroom sizes are small, the faculty are passionate about teaching, and teachers make every effort to be available to help the children excel in their studies. Classmates challenge and support each other both in and out of the classroom. Students, faculty, and staff are truly happy to be part of the CCDS Community. Our oldest child shared with me, recently, that our decision to move her to CCDS was the best decision we ever made.
