I would tell Parents to run fast you're child would be better off in Public school. Especially if they are African American. This school has mostly African American children, but it's for the money because they don't care anything about them. They show favoritism to the fee Caucasian children making sure they get all the recognitions and scholarships. They've even made Caucasian students valedictorians in the past even when they did not have the best overall GPA. The problem is that the school is not held responsible for unethical practices, they don't have a real board of directors, nor an Ohio school board that they report too.

Public Schools are a mess, I should know, I taught in them for 2 decades. This school is a FAR better experience in every way. This is CLEARLY a Christian school. Is every child, parent, teacher, etc perfect? No! Which is why they need to be in a Christian environment to work on being "holy." I have my kids at this school and am extremely pleased in what goes on here. The overall experience here is top of the line, period. Is there flaws, yes. If you think any experience you have had here that is negative is unique to this school you probably are not being realistic. Great leadership here, great kids, great men and women of God leading the school environment to be a very friendly and conducive to learning place to be.

poor...poor...this school is getting greedy with VOUCHERS (ED Choice) their not turning no money down. Overbooking classes and refusing to add necessary classes to students schedule. IF your child is attending k-8 no complaints (GOOD CHOICE).. 9TH-12TH find somewhere else to send your kid. No clubs for students! No organizations to join. "nothing"... don't be fooled!

This school is only fit to be private because parents are paying for their children to attend the school. Overall your child is getting an average Columbus Public School education at best. Not worth the money.

RUN RUN BUT READ.. I can not began to let you all know how horrible this school has been, i had 2 shorten my review for the sight. To start my child (boy) was kicked and then punched in the face by a girl, that weighed more than i at 150lbs and badly bruised. I wish I could put a picture on here. Her consequence was a day of out of school suspension! I prayed on the matter and allowed my child and my kindergartner to return the next year. He had 5-6 teachers and before 1 report card could come out 3 of his teachers were gone. He had been Tardy, received a Sat School, and because of my own misunderstanding he was then suspended out of school TO SERVE THE SAME CONSEQUENCE of a child that had assaulted him. SMH.BOTTOM LINE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. I asked for a meeting prior to pulling them out of the school, I felt I was getting ignored I then decided to withdraw them,i insisted on receiving the meeting and the Assistant Principal inform me he cancelled because he was informed I withdrew them. Lol the children were still enrolled, I only inquired on the matter. I responded, Are my concerns no longer valid because my children do not go here any longer? I have yet for them to get back with me. I guess they aren't getting that check so forget my concerns. And the list goes ON and ON.........Miss Hayes is the only great thing that came from this tragic experience. My son was not accepted to the new school because of what ever they sent the new school. My son is a full year honor roll student that has never been in trouble seriously or put out of school for ANY REASON in the 3 years except this Tardy mess. They did not handle my son getting assulted properly I never gave it up and they see me as a threat. I took my children out, they did not put us out and even asked if "their was a way to remedie this? The day prior to telling me to never come back to the premises. After talking to a few insiders and learning things about this place and reading reviews I have been able to calm myself understand that everything that they have done to myself and my children are common practice. Going against the grain and showing to much concern for your child is unacceptable. Lord knows the secretive ways of this school and not EVER being able to even look in a class is enough of a sign that they are just unable to get it together and are seriously hiding something.
