Teachers are great at this school! Leadership is the problem. Kids keep getting pulled out due to this principal Salazar. If any staff have left, it is also due to this principal. We need new positive leadership who will make a positive change.

I am shocked by the negative reviews I see here. The new principal always calls me when I email or call her and the teachers are very dedicated and always email back as well.

MCS 2 has more issues than Vogue! My son has attended this school since it opened in 2012 with Ms Mejias. If there was ever any issue or anything that needed attention, she took care of it right away, she did not play. Loved her! Unfortunately she retired after two years and almost the entire school staff left the school as well. Ms. Page took over after her, she was okay I guess. She tried but it was NOT the same. Some families left the school. And this was the start of the end. This year we have Salazar who is clueless and anything you bring to her attention never gets resolved. She stunts you with her line, I understand, blah blah, and it ends there. My son has had more teachers this school year than his school grade. I have never heard of so many teachers leaving a school in a matter of months! Mind you his class has 12 students remaining so far and the teacher still can't seem to have control of the class. My biggest concern is his education and this year he has fallen behind due to the constant school issues. Not sure how this school can manage to stay open with so many kids leaving. It's a true shame! There's a big disconnect with communication and any notifications are always last minute. As a single working mom it's hard to attend anything especially when the school schedules things during work hours. The school is a big disappointment. This makes any other charter schools look so bad. This will be our last year here! #fail #notmyprincipal #getyourkidout

The school has poor leadership, poor communication skills, high teacher turn over, low student morale, no consistency, no family involvement and it's only getting worse. Many teachers and students have left during the school year because it's that bad. Do your research before applying or putting your child in this school. Don't be lured by their French and Music program, it's all smoke and mirrors.

First of all Carissa Page is not the current principal. This year it is Ms. Salazar. I put my son in this school not knowing how bad this school is. My son's teacher has no idea how to deal with with any of her students. There is no classroom control. She yells at my son and other kids have said the same thing about her. Other parents have told the principal but nothing is ever resolved so why waste my time. This environment is not suitable for my son. I plan on taking him out at the end of this year or sooner if possible. Parents, please take this as a warning. I went into this schoool blind. It's not fair to my son. There is no family involvement from what I see. The family coordinator Ms. Martinez does nothing to help families either. Do your research please. I give this school two thumbs down!
