The school has changed to the worst year after year and from 2018-2019 it's has reached rock bottom. There are some teachers who should not be working with kids and the teachers need to respect the leadership.

So far not great! There are more teachers that shouldn't be teaching than there are those that are great. Some teachers there are amazing but they are few in numbers and unfortunately as you move up they become worst.

I'd like to reply to some of the comments left on this website particularly the most recent post is not accurate for two reasons: 1) having worked at AHHS for the last decade there was no male Spanish 2 teachers who's name began with a D. 2) when you complained to your guidance department I wouldn't expect HIM to do anything about it, being as both counselors are wonderful, intelligent and compassionate WOMEN. Lastly, I can't vouch for the past academic performance prior to having worked there but I can comment on the fact that the new HIGHLY QUALIFIED staff at AHHS are some of the most committed, caring, nurturing, selfless people I've ever been blessed enough to work with. These teachers go to no end to provide quality education for ALL students who are willing to apply themselves to the learning process. The school's culture has changed DRAMATICALLY since the day I first walked through the doors and I would consider AHHS a school of excellence which can be attributes in large part to a brilliant young administration and the its faculty who truly love and take pride in their professions.Hamilton's small classes sizes, cultural diversity and tradition truly make it a gem of a school that I would be proud to send my kids to. We continue to produce outstanding graduation rates in spite of limited resources in comparison to the privileged surrounding communities (Ardsley, Edgemont, Irvington, Pocantico Hills, Valhalla)Hamilton's sports programs have also taken a positive direction in recent years as they have repented section 1 on a number of occasions in regional and state tournaments / meets in cross county, soccer and basketball. Not to mention the boys basketball state championship in 2004. Track and Field has also crowned Westchester county champions, state champions and all Americans in the past 10 years. Anywhere from 12-15 AHHS alumni currently participate in NCAA athletics from D1-D3 and JUCO.I'm sorry your past experiences weren't as positive, but stop by and see what your alma mater has become. You'll be glad you did!
