I currently go to this school and I will tell you now DONT LET YOUR CHILD GO TO THIS SCHOOL. I was bullied and made fun of to the point were I was diagnosed with clinical depression and after that even during the days I was in full out panic attacks this school still expected me to keep up with school work if you love your kid dont let them go to this school

Great School!!! I'm glad to send my son to this school. Teachers are really helpful and put their utmost effort to improve kids knowledge.

The watches of the teachers are stuck in the 70s . They still teach the memorization's way . Creativity is not encouraged and backward. Here is what happened in the middle school to give you an idea of the situation in the school. Back from Italy our child was wearing a T shirt displaying the Vitruvian Man. The teacher was shocked and we got an email about how the T-shirt was not appropriate !! Da Vinci was censored whereas we bought it in the Vaticano !! This is how bad the school system is here. It does not get better in the high school. And the state tests are not even good.

Well said.. Stuck in the 80's, 70's I think....We just moved to NY and picked Cornwall because we heard that the schools were very good. We are so disappointed! The curriculum is not challenging at all. Very little homework is assigned and it's homework my elementary child gets. 2-3 fill in the blank papers. Home/Careers is mandatory.. Are you kidding me? They learn to read labels! What a waste of time. Why not add more minutes to the important classes instead? The Board of Ed. needs to evaluate the curriculum and make it more challenging. They are so behind the state we moved from it's pathetic. My child basically repeated everything they had learned from the grade before at this school. With the new year just starting, I still don't see anything new or "Hard" being taught. They just slide by daily. If this is considered an excellent school district, I can only imagine other districts in NY. The school is small they can only pick so many kids for the AP classes. The others are left behind not advancing and getting bored. They either need to add more AP classes or allow more students into the classrooms. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!

this school is alright if you live in the area, but it could be much better. The hallways are filthy and never controlled. there are not fights, but there is a big case of bullying there. There are two teams, the white, and the green. they are just used because we have two vice principle, so if you get in trouble, you go to the vice principle for your team. the only thing that is wrong with this system, is it seams like the teachers on opposing teams are always competing to be better. so, the white team, they work, and work, and work, and work. hard. But, the green team, they party and have fun. heck, the 6th grade doesnt even have an english period! they use that period to talk about random nonsense like video games. the teachers do pick favorites, and despite there efforts there is much cybur bullying, me being one of many victims.
