Aside from the bullying, the homework where students were literally told to copy and paste from Wikipedia to "write" a paper and the time that instead of coming to me with a behavior complaint, a teacher went to my daughter's sister and told her how terrible her sister was as a way of informing us about classroom behavior, this school's legitimate answer to active shooter training video was to have the 5th graders make a movie where a killer clown comes in with a gun and mows down the student body in a bloody horror film. No offense to the 5th graders, but what adult gives that responsibility to the 5th graders? All the 1st and 2nd graders were terrified and a year later it turned into a urban legend where they all thought there was really a killer clown that murdered students at the school.

This school isnt so bad. My daughter attends Pre-k and her teacher Mr. ZFigueroa and Ms Ortega are prety good. My daighter is doing well in his class and he is very detailed with her progress. I dont know if I would want my child coming here next school year. I dont like the way the staff speaks to students in the hall. I also there is a large bulletin in the lobby that has each class and each student and their academic level. Its listed as "ABOVE LEVEL" AT LEVEL" AND "BELOW LEVEL". So under each level has each child name. I cant understand the concept of this. My child is above level but is only in Pre-k so if she were below level she cat read or understand what that means. However for the higher grades it seems so embrassing, I couldnt believe it when I saw it. I guess no one else though it was a big deal but me because its still up there. SMH.

I am not surprised by the dissmal reviews this school has received my son passed a test for gifted and talented and they were sending him to this school...I went to the school and they didn't even know they had a gifted and talented program....What a joke! I entered the main office which was empty and expected to leave all my child's personal information on a unoccupied desk! Often in the evening I encounter the students leaving the school and if what takes place outside is what mirrors anything inside I would definitely not recommend this school to anyone ! Remember no child should be left behind!

My two kids attended this school for 4 years, the grades from pre-k to 1st grade are okay, but the following grades are bad. Teachers don't send enough homework, kids don't behave properly, there is no respect whatsoever from teachers to parents, ans the communication is awful. I agree with another comment posted here that i have seen teachers screaming and insulting children in front of the assistant principals and they don't say anything to them. This is not a good environment for a child's development, and now that i changed my kids from school they are amazed!, the first day of class the first thing they told me is: Mom i like this school, the kids behave nicely and nobody screams......I can see a big difference, and the educators are far more organized than the ones you can find here....there are a few outstanding teachers at this school, but very few kids get to have them.

My child went to PS 375 for two years. I allowed her to stay because she had great teachers. However, during the course of her two years there she was pushed to the ground, slammed against a wall, slapped in the face, received threatening letters home and fondled on her chest by a boy in her class. Did I neglect to mention that my daughter's last year there was 2nd grade? Why haven't the other reviews mentioned anything about Dr. Koolah "Parent Coordinator" who can be found walking around shouting at parents and children alike. Also Dr. Koolah is the point of contact on just about everything you need to do. So good luck if he decides that he doesn't like you!!
