Midwood is a wonderful high school with different programs that not only teaches but aids in student development

I love this school. The students are friendly, hardworking, trustworthy, honest and respectful. Unlike Murrow, we have morals. It's students are headed in the right direction.

This school is very crowded; because of this, some of the teachers cannot even remember your name for the whole year. Some teachers cannot even teach so you would really need a buddy next to you.. But considering all that, this school is still pretty good. Most of the teachers are nice and there *are* teachers who can teach. You'd get them if your lucky..

Midwood high school fails to give its students guidance. I graduated in 1990 with a 97 average- pre-med with ap physicis, ap English, ap calculus. I should have been advised to enter into the seven year program Brooklyn college had with downstate medical school and also encouraged to apply to Harvard, Yale, and all Ivy League schools including Columbia university.Instead the advisors said apply to suny Binghamton and buffalo. Absolute bad suggestions. They pushed us to attend school in artic wooded areas . I was a star and should have been promoted to the sky not the middle of nowhere. They offered no financial or technical help in completing admission applications. Don't send your child to this school. If you have done so demand services or transfer out

The teachers are excellent and push you to strive. I was encouraged to take many Advance Placement courses which helped me received a full scholarship to college.
