Please, please do not put your children in this school. If I could put no stars I would. My child attended for approximately nine days and I had to remove her. The administration is a hot mess. They lost my child's original records. They never mailed out the summer packets. The students are out of control and no one can control them. Teachers spend more time screaming then teaching. My daughter mentioned the deans and assistant principal would threaten the children with detention or placing them in lower grades but yet the kids still didn't care. I personally went to the school and found two girls kissing in the staircase while classes where in session. No one was monitoring the halls or staircases. The students behave like animals when they walk around the halls and have no respect. My daughter was there for nine days and each day had about 3 fights. Constant bullying.

Hello I am a parent of a 9th grade student who goes to UASWC. My son loves this school. He had alot of trouble in jr. high and since he has been in the 9th grade he really enjoys going to schooll. He has a learning disability also. He especially loves Mr. Muller's art class and told me recently that he hated going to school until he took his class. He told me recently that Mr. Muller has helped him and other students see they can do art and is a very nice man. He never yells and treats the students with a lot of respect. though out the year Mr. Muller and other teachers has contact with parents to let them know how the students are doing. This I am so happy with because it shows that they teachers care. I am happy with this school. Yea, the area might be bad but the teachers are great in this school. I would recommend this school.

My child was one of the first 150 students to attend UASWC, when he started the 6th grade, he is now in the 11th grade and enjoys going to school everyday. He struggles with a learning disability and has passed two regents. He is not treated any differently and the teachers push him because he has the potential to excel. He is taking the U.S. History regents today and yesterday he took the English. I am so proud of him and more impressed with how the teachers have really pushed him and has never given up on him. You rock Mr. O.

Clearly the afore posted review shows that this is a horrible school. The teachers will know a child is doing bad and still write comments such as " has the ability to do better", even if they are failing. The school doesn't seem to know what is going on or how a proper school should be run. Finally the area is disgusting. If this wasn't a last minute thing my child would not attend this school. Do not under any circumstances attend this school, your child will end up being the one to lose.
