The I.A. Principal Iris Aldea-Pollack does not know what she is doing. We have had students bring in drugs and hoookah to the school. [One student was actually charging friends for each puff of hookah]. The most recent incident occurred a couple weeks ago, where a group of 3rd grade students ended up in the hospital because students got their hands on over the counter drugs in school and students were telling each other to close their eyes and open their mouths. There is no discipline code in the school and the students are out of control. Fights are constantly breaking out and the school is going down in flames. When you try to confront the I.A. Principal about anything she runs to her office, closes the door and has her secretary and other staff members deal with angry parents. A total of 9 school teachers have quit due to lack of support and all staff members have had a difficult time due to lack of leadership skills. Something must be done or this school will end up closing.

Beware of ps 360!! This school is beyond horrible. My son started attending kindergarten in the fall of 2014 he was only 4. Second week of school was our first incident. My son dropped his spoon at breakfast and went to get a new one but instead was yelled at and told to eat his yogurt with his fingers. I went straight to the school and the incident was swept under the rug. Second incident took place October of 2014 when my son was being bullied by a second grader on the school bus. I made a complaint to the school which I was told well it's not happening in school nothing we can do. I couldn't even address the issue with the child's parent because the child wasn't being picked up by a parent. I asked the school to please set up a meeting with the parent and children I was told no that they don't have meetings with parents. I even asked the bus driver to have my son sit behind her. Of course my son wasn't getting bullied on the bus anymore. But found access in school. Still nothing was done. I had enough and finally got a hold of the parent on my own. I'm telling you avoid this school at all cost. Not a safe environment.

"Having worked at PS 360 for over ten years as a teacher I can truly say that the teachers are all hard working, dedicated, and caring. Unfortunately, that is the best I can say about the school. The previous principal lacked tact, courtesy, and professional vocabulary when addressing staff, parents, and students. The school is run like a fortress where parents and visitors are made to feel intrusive and unwelcome. The current principal is clueless in manners of curriculum and child development since she was never a classroom teacher, was trained at the ""principals academy"" spearheaded by the Bloomberg administration, and came from a corporate background. The current principal's drive for ambition trumps all manner of cohesion among staff and parents. The morale in the school is extremely low and because of that teachers try to remain ""under the radar"" so as not to arouse any negative attention. When there is aggression and violence among students the principal blames teachers and does not offer the support needed. If it weren't for the administration of PS 360 the school climate would improve, teachers would feel welcome and happy to be there, and creativity would flow."

This school is horrrible . The administration is lacking in all aspects. The principal is unprofessional and rude. The office personnel is biased and nasty. A call to the school is recieved with questioning like a gestapo. Children are belittled and intimidatedand labeled. Serious situations that occur are swept under the rug and not addressed properly. Atrocious.
