As recent alumni of this school, I can say I had the best experience possible. My parents did everything they could to get me in this school when I was in elementary school, and it really paid off. I had the experience to be in the school's concert band, Project Boost, and the Community Team. The trips and knowledge gained from the various trips and activities I was able to do in this school really helped me and prepared me for the next level in high school. In 8th grade, the teachers already help us prepare to be college-ready,so I was going into my freshman year with prior knowledge about various topics and classes I could take. Faculty and Staff at the time really helped me become the person I am today.

As a current alumni (Class of 2016) of this school I can definitely say things had changed over the course I was there and even after I have left. To start off with good points, I can definitely say the teachers here were very academically involved with the students. There was a good amount of homework, class work, and discipline. They did really care about your grades, at least the ones I had throughout my course there. As for the arts, I can definitely say that the instrumental arts (both strings and orchestra) and dance knew what they were doing. The teachers in those fields were very experienced in their art, and as a violin student there, I can definitely say my teacher was very involved, talented, and knew what she was doing. Gym was easy to pass as well. The parent coordinators and assistant principals were all very liked and known by most kids and parents no matter what house you were in. But now, off to the bad points. When I got into 180, it was because my grades were high, as well as my fellow elementary school students who had gotten in. However, now MS 180 accepts any student, and many of the students do not care about their grades. At least the school has honor classes and knows where to put the ones who care and the ones who don't care. For the arts program, visual arts was very unappreciated. The teachers were very inexperienced, and everybody there would always complain about art being very boring and that there was no drive to do anything in it. For vocal, the teacher was very biased and only chose certain kids to do better things, whilst leaving other talented vocalists in the dust or in the back. Hppefully, those teachers have changed. Going back to regular teachers, yes, while they were academically involved, none of them were socially involved. For my experience in International, and Moving Image, there was only one teacher who really cared throughout my full three years about how I was feeling. I had one teacher who was very arrogant and did not listen to kids who thought she was teaching too fast or slow. Many of the parents and faculty didn't like her. As for the principal, he has left now but he was VERY uninvolved with the students. While this didn't bother me much, I still thought it wasn't very professional to not even get to know any of your students. Anyways, to conclude, I would give this school a 6/10.

Kudos to International!!!! I'm so thrilled...ecstatic if you will, I removed my child from a so called top Catholic school where she was failing miserably My child has gone from completely failing to and honor student, now when I ask how was your day, I get an ear full, and just listening to my child talk about the days class work and activities I get goose bumps.. Im so thrilled, the Principal, teachers /staff are amazing, they talk to you, not at you, and they inform you on a regular about your child academically. Very approachable staff, I can truly say these teachers are here to teach Thank you so much,
