Take my advice and just don't do it. Like the person below as my graduated child was the same.

This is a great school. The teachers are understanding and for the most part, nice, at the exception of a few. The students watch over eachother and are pretty close knit. This is what a real community should be like. There are plenty of oppertunities for students going at a slower pace, but not much room for advancement, however, the two years that i went to school were the two best school years of my life. also, the school is beatifully lanscaped and looks like a castle. in the center there is a glass catwalk overlooking a stone courtyard. overall ad oliver is a fun school to be at.

I don't enjoy going to A.D. Oliver. Many of the authoritative figures are fake, incompetent, and all together out of it. Some teachers are rude, sarcastic and not understanding in the simplest form of the word. If you're looking for a great district Brockport is definitely not it.

The principals and educators are dedicated and wonderful, however, the dynamic in the building is driven by negative reinforcement. For the autonomous and self-directed student, it is off-putting and wearisome. Emphasis is on maintaining order and bringing the more challenged students up to testing standards. There is little for the advanced learner, other than becoming a 'teacher's helper' and/or enduring the endless number of fill-in-the-bubble rote assignments. Parental involvement is neither encouraged or invited; Indeed, your child's report card will direct you to contact the guidance office with any concerns (NOT your child's teachers), and your child cannot accompany you to open house. Instead of an exciting transition, the middle school is a heartrending let-down after Phil Peck's Hill School. If you have a bright child, a self-initiated child, a child eager to learn, then, unfortunately, be prepared to be disappointed.
