A parent. Twin hills elementary school is a great school for both acedemics and discipline for all students. I moved to the Willingboro township 9 years ago and I'm proud to say that two of my three kids who attended twins hills were and are still honor roll students in their respective middle youngest is still an honor roll student. Their NJ ask scores are excellent. This is possible because of the excellent teachers together with good parents envolvements. Some of us parents always want to complain but will do absolutely to help our kids with school work. We just want magic to happen. Kids will still perform poorly even if they attend a rich town school without parent involvement.

i moved out here 12 years ago and willingboro is the worse ever, i bought a home already and as time went by the township did too, i have 5 children so i had to deal with special and regular education i was in and out of courts for years just trying to get my kids the education that they needed willingboro never wanted to send them out of district because they didnt want to pay other school districts but they dont have the programs here and, when things happen the principles dont address them right away they say write a note please!!! am i suppose to be writing the president or something!? also the people in the office are nasty with extra attitutes for no reason their not helpful these schools are very unorganized and layed back and im mean all of them bc i've dealt with more then one school, now my last child just started k and i spent so much money on materials and he still comes home with no folder they lost him in the school his lunch bag was stolen its so sad they take taxes but it looks like it goes to the police station bc they have a palace over there its so sad cant wait too move soon! it's an undercover city gangs drug activity violence good luck to the parents that care!

Wow, I wish I had never moved here even though our home is beautiful, its just not worth this pisspoor school and dealing with the favoritism shown to kids that started there and the alienation for kids that are forced to transfer in. All of you parents who think this is a great school, try just reviewing some of the other elementary schools outside of Willingboro. Anything "great" that happened was because it was supposed to happen. I've seen children held up from enrolling by the ignorant women in the front office caring less about the childs education because they didnt have the common sense to take a situation one step more. And this was obviously before any dealings with the teachers. Just a shame because we pay so much in property taxes, these children should be receiving the absolete best and the parents should be encouraged to actively participate. There are no field trips, they dont collect boxtops, the doors are consistently unlocked. I dont even think they have a recess. My child used to love school and now every day he complains of having a stomach ache and it hurts me to make her go. Hopefully I can get her out of there by end of Christmas break, if there is one

Im exhausted from hearing parentd complain about Twin Hills. Both of my sons love this school. The teachers they have now and have had are very supportive. They are achieving above grade level. I have never heard of any fights, but my son says the only disruptions are children talking at inappropriate times. Can this be a problem? Yes, but how can you blame the school. Discipline is first learned at home, so blame the parent. As a parent we have to remembet no mattet what school our children attend, we need to reinforce what the teacher has taught our child at school in the home. TEACHERS CAN NOT DO IT ALONE. Instead of complaining do something...join the PTA, attend school board meetings, attend open house and parent conferences, write or email your child's teacher with any questions or concerns, talk to your child about his/her day and ask what did they learn, and STOP blaming others when you have done nothing to help the situation improve in the areas you see need assisting. My children and I like Twin Hills. I plan to continue to send them there and cant wait until my daughter can attend pre-k next fall.

The principal does not respect the rights of parents and has no problem disrespecting parents and treating them as if they are elementary aged students.
