My oldest son, who is now 15, attended AES in first grade. Never has there been a warmer environment, friendlier staff, or excellent teaching. My son loved this school. We had to move away. Now, I am excited to say that I am moving back to Antrim for the sole purpose of my other two children to attend an excellent school. - I can't wait! Kathleen Mosher

As a parent who teaches in another NJ district, I could not be more pleased with G. Harold Antrim Elementary School. The class sizes are ideal (my kids have 15 and 16 kids in thier classes) and allow for individualized instuction. The teachers and principal know my children by name-even if they never had them in their class. Extra curricular activities may be limited, but so is student population. The PTO is outstanding and their fundraising efforts have helped Antrim beyond belief. The technology in the school compares with high tuition private schools in Monmouth County.

I came where the public school system was and is excellent. My hs was 1500 in the nation (newsweek 2008). Pros: small class sizes, generally good teachers. Cons: no emphasis at all on the arts, narrow sport avenues with unfair monetary distribution and because it is a small school-cliques ,bullying and partial disciplinary actions .definitely a`lot of hype for nothing special. Grade : C .
