My son started MCD in 2015 Summer. He likes the summer camp so much that we enrolled him for regular school year. For the past two years, we really enjoy sage classroom and great sage teachers Mrs. Shah and Mrs. Nawaz. They are wonderful teachers with great love and patience. Special class such as swimming, art, science and Spanish are fantastic. My son also attended EDP which are run by a group of lovely and devoted staff. My son wants to be last to be picked up so that he could spend longer time with his beloved teachers. Principle is very personal, approachable and passionate. Due to her great leadership, Teacher turnover rate is low. Overall, It is a AAA school, in both hard way demonstrated by great facility, clean environment as well as soft way leading by wonderful faculty and principle. The school is well managed and teachers is well trained. Therefore, I would strongly recommend this school!

This has been a truly wonderful school for our family. The teachers are loving, hard working, and we are extremely impressed by the progress of our children in infant, preschool and elementary classes. Would recommend without hesitation!

Both our kids have been to this school up to 2 nd grade. The campus is beautiful and so are the facilities. There is equal emphasis on arts and sciences. There are activities such as plays, concerts and performances where kids participate actively. They have a weekly schedule and regular homework. The staff is kind and responsive. Our younger daughter really enjoyed her time at the school. To summarize, the school has had a great contribution in her impressive growth over past year.

We were very disappointed by Montessori Country Day. Our son had a great experience at Montessori Corner for kindergarten, and we were excited for him to enjoy his 1st grade year at MCD. But he started having trouble almost immediately. His reading scores actually devolved, but his teacher never reached out to us - instead, when we requested a meeting, she insisted the problem was that he hadn't focused on reading over the summer. As a note, she was his teacher for the summer program. The school also failed to notice that our son and others were being bullied by one of the older students, and failed to take action to address the situation, even after we witnessed an incident involving the bully. Some of the teachers were warm and caring, but some were not, and the administration was constantly defensive rather than proactive. His experience at MCD caused our son to lose his love of learning. He is only slowly regaining it now after being in another school for a month. I wish we had pulled him out sooner.

I enrolled my son at MCD from Feb - June 2016. I moved here in Feb and had researched a few schools before selecting MCD.One thing that I did not know up front is that MCD is owned by a for-profit educational company called Nobel Learning Communities. It was bought by Nobel a few years ago; previously it had a different administration and was likely run differently (hopefully better!).Summary: what you are paying for here is an image of prestige, not an education that is developmentally appropriate. The owners of the school care more about money than they do about the kids. The good:-- Beautiful campus-- On-site pool-- I think the teachers do genuinely care for the kids. The bad:-- They routinely use the iPad to watch videos and keep the kids occupied during the school day. I was told this is to “supplement” what the kids are learning. 18 month olds DO NOT an iPad to supplement learning. Not appropriate for a Montessori school (or any school for 2 year olds).-- Very expensive compared to other options-- You have to pay extra for enrichment activities-- My son developed severe constipation after attending this school. They don’t monitor well what the kids are eating. It turns out my son was bingeing on cracker-type snacks, skipping his lunch, and then snacking more. They say they offer fruits or veggies at snack but my son was not eating it. I have picked him up from after care and the kids were all eating donut holes.-- My son got a large gash on his cheek in his first week at school. Supposedly he tripped and fell into a door.-- They did not properly monitor the vaccinations of all the kids. I know this bc I was notified months late that my son was missing several, which I promptly got for him. They threatened to pass fines for this to us, even though it was them who had not complied with state regs.-- They used baby wipes I sent in for other kids, and used other kids' wipes on my son. I know this because of two things: 1) I saw it happen and 2) I would send in a month’s worth of wipes for my son and a week’s worth of diapers, and yet at the end of the week I would get a new request for both wipes and diapers.-- Last but certainly not least, they decided to keep my $1684 deposit when I decided to pull my son out due to these issues! Greedy!
