Great high school. They offer a very wide variety of classes and programs. If you are into sports, they have some very competitive teams and also have some no-cut teams. If your child is not interested in playing sports, they have a fantastic arts and humanities program. Their school plays are phenomenal. There are some very talented students and teachers at this school and the students get accepted to the best colleges in the country. The faculty offers numerous opportunities for college prep information and activities. My son is a freshman here and we are very happy with the school as are the other parents I know.

We have been nothing but impressed with MHS since our son started last year. The school is large, diverse and truly offers something for everyone. My son takes honors courses and we find them rigorous and challenging. Most teachers appear to have Master's degrees in their subject area. This year they expanded the 1:1 Chromebook initiative to all students in grades 7-12 in the district. They are leading the way in integrating technology into public education. We also like and respect the principal, Mark Manning and his direct, hands-on approach. The number of sports, clubs, music, art and technology programs are astounding. The school is a microcosm of our society, and is doing a wonderful job preparing kids for 21st century learning.

I have a son who graduated from Morristown High School and is at highly selective college and extremely well prepared for the rigor is university is demanding of him. On an equally important level, he is open to meeting people of various backgrounds at his new "home" and accepting of difference, which is the BEST education he could have gotten in High School.

Morristown High School is a one- of- a kind phenomenal high school with a racially, and economically diverse student body, 35 Varsity spot, myriad AP classes which routinely places its graduates in the most elite universities in the United States. My son went to Princeton with three other graduates of the MHS class of 2007. My daughter (MHS 2011) is at the elite music school at Indiana University. My younger son (MHS 2017) is a freshman in the band, swim and lacrosse team and a student in the STEM Academy. Morristown High School has everything any private school in New Jersey can offer.

This school is an extraordinary institution that strides to provide the best classroom experience. By far one of the most technology enhanced public institutions in the state, Morristown has the latest Apple computers, devices, and personal computers for each student. A near college experience is available for those students who truly care about learning, and most of the teachers have Masters degrees in their subject. It is sad to note that the large non native population in the school has lowered the average of test scores. It is shameful how people who have children who don't utilize this fantastic school and resources are aloud to review this school negatively. This is an extraordinary school, and has been since 1910.
