My son is in his second year at Lakeside. Though I was skeptical about sending him there bc of all that I have heard about it, I will say we are happy with the school. There are many opportunities provided for the students to participate in the school community and not get in trouble. It's about the choices your child makes. Every teacher we have encountered has been wonderfully supportive of the students and very knowledgeable. The new principal has had a positive effect there for sure.

This school is pretty bad. A lot of the students are bad and do poorly in school. Also the school focuses too much on unimportant stuff. Some teachers are just plain lazy. Not all teachers though ,some do try. Lakeside has a ton of spirit and school pride which is wonderful!

My experience with Lakeside was positive. My son attended 6-8th grade there and was encouraged to do his best, join sports and participate in activities. When he needed extra help his teachers were more than happy to stay after school. If I needed to speak with anyone I had no problem. My son is now in 10th grade and takes advanced classes, I attribute this to the years he sent at Lakeside. My daughter attends 6th grade at Lakeside this school year, and I look forward to the same positive experience. Joining PTO is a must, they support the school and make the kids experience a great one.

Lakeside Middle School is the worst school to have your kids to go to it's drama filled. A lot of fights for no reason, kids in that school is blood thirsty always wanting to see a fight like really.Teachers in that school is rude since there teachers they can write you up and the principal will believe it cause it's the teachers words. They got perverts in that school like don't let your kids go to that school
