I am an 8th grade student at MES. I have been attending this school since kindergarten and I love/loved every moment of it. All of the teachers and staff at MES are supportive and helpful. The students are kind and friendly and are supportive to each other. We have great programs including French, Spanish, Italian and Algebra 1 for 8th and 7th graders. We have great after school activities including band, chourus, baseball, softball, cross country, student council, field hockey, soccer, drama club, art club, environmental club, peer leaders. You name it, MES has it. We also have a great technology system in the school where every classroom has an active board and every 8th grade student gets there own Dell tablet. I have been well educated throuought my years here. Next year I will be taking honors courses for Math (geometry), English, and Social Studies across the street at Manasquan High School. I could go on all day about how great this school is. If your looking for a school around the area that you want your child to succeed in, choose Manasquan Elemantary School!!!

School facility is a knock-down and education is just okay, overall not good for a new student.

School needs new principal. Tired, old ideas come from tired old people. Some very good teachers, but have little support from staff whose only concern is holding on to their own jobs for a few more decades. Concerned Parents are taking their kids elsewhere. People who can't afford it or dont care, are stuck with the the same principal who has been there since they themselves were in elementary school. Vice Principal and superintendent need to go as well.

School is at a critical juncture. Possibility for some outstanding progress with the right decisions. Superintendent's contract is presently up for renewal. Heavy pressure from some on the Board of Education to ram through renewal before Governor's "price controls" take place. Time for a new Superintendent with the energy and decisive nature to clean house (staff) especially with regard to getting a new Principal and Vice Principal. School has outstanding potential, presently unrealized. Some very good teachers at MES. They need administrators who are up to the challenge, not just marking time. School needs classes for "gifted" children. School needs classes for "special needs kids". Board of Education meetings concerning the Superintendent's contract should not be held in secret.
