As a STUDENT from 2015 to 2018, this school has been a complete failure. In sixth grade, I was told I would be told I would be put in advanced classes in seventh only to learn there were none. The students, in general, behave exceptionally poorly and this is only made worse by the restraint the teachers have on discipline. Keep in mind this is a student complaining that the discipline is lacking. The person who said it was great because it had been there so long must learn that it has changed for the worse. I have few friends due the fact that so few meet my expectations of behavior. I feel no shame in singling out a teacher so I shall: Ms. Dawn Graham has repeatedly showed signs of a lack of care for her job. This needs to be destroyed so it can start again.

I recently received updates on LBMS, due to the fact that I have already posted a review, and cant believe the few (and I mean few) reviews that portray this school in a flattering light. To claim that this school deserves 5 stars because of how it was in the 70's and 80's is a bit absurd. And to give a positive rating from the views of a staff member is also inaccurate, considering they're a large part of the problem. True, your education is what you make of it. Which is why my child does very well in school. That does NOT mean that this school, staff, or administration deserve ANY credit for her success. It is all HER accomplishment, with the help of her parents. Your child CAN do well and learn, it just wont be easy OR pleasant. And you and your child will be going it alone.

I am a student at LBMS and this school is absolutely horrible. I am on the leadership floor, i am honors and i have many after school programs. Not all but some of the teachers have no control over the classroom. One of my friends says all he does in reading is sit there and chatter. Is this the kind of education you want for your child. The biggest incident i was sitting next to my friends who were arguing and i the bystander got hit in the head and was gushing blood. The guidance counselor did not even ask if i was okay. she sent me and my friend who headbutted me to walk to the nurses office w/o an adult. This injury got me 9 stitches.DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL SYSTEM. YOU CAN DO BETTER. LOOK AT THIS RATING COME ON MAN

its horrible and the teachers have no patience at all.the school is run by a bunch of morons. and the alternative school where they should have even more patience, have none at all.the school is for children that have different problems some need smaller classes some need more PATIENCE and they dont have any of that. one teacher kicked a student, nice right.thats where we send our children and they get abused.or sent home for doing small things that can be fixed by the staff.instead they throw them to the side like garbage.i would not recommend this school system to anyone.so what we have alot of things for the kids to get into, like sports and clubs.its all for nothing if the staff is no good.the middle school and alternative school are the worse school we have here.seems like after k-5 it goes down hill. sad but very true!!!! for the teachers they get 0 for no patience and lack of control.principal leadership def. a 0. I DO MY JOB NOW THEY NEED TO DO THEIRS.THESE TEACHERS GET PAID BIG BUCKS FOR WHAT?? TO HAVE NO PATIENCE?NO CONTROL? SHAME ON LB SCHOOLS

I attended LB Junior High and Senior High Schools in the 1970's; my three children attended both schools, LB has the best curriculum, sports, students, teachers, staff in Monmouth County. We are the best. My son is a para-professional with the LB Board of Education, he's been at the JFS, Gregory, Lenna Conrow, LB Middle School, LB High School, Audrey Clark, and he loves it. The schools, the kids, his co-workers and the administration.
