Had a personal experience with a teacher for 4th Grade . She was on Maternity leave the entire year and the substitute teacher was a fantastic replacement whom the kids loved and connected well. The teacher who went on leave ultimately returned back towards the end of the year with post partum depression. She picked on students for no reason and seemed to be a busybody always trying to find fault and never happy. She constantly picked on my child and inspite of getting straight 4s , she made it a point to reduce the marks and assign bad grades in my child's report card for MP3. The school should have made good decisions to assign one teacher throughout the curriculum year as students' mental health and performance is grossly impacted. They were assessed and nurtured by one awesome teacher only to be ridiculed and bullied by another senior teacher. My Kid has lost the overall confidence in spite of being smart and intelligent. This teacher made it a point to ridicule the "sensitive" nature of the child when the kid reached out to her and she tagged him to having problems with other kids when the whole year he was one of the most popular and loved one in class known for his light humored nature.

This school has surpassed our expectations because of the dedication of the staff and teachers. Both of our sons enjoy going to school there each day, and as parents we are delighted. The PTA and the other parents are all very hands on and dedicated to making all the kids have a great educational and recreational experience. All around this school is an example of how the educational system and community can come together and be pro active in having a great grammar school experience for kids from grades K-5
