Hasbrouck Heights Middle School Ratings & Reviews

September 15, 2019 Submitted by a student
"Horrible place to grow up, especially if you are going into the high school in the same building. A lot of the time people don't make an effort to talk to anyone. Students are unfriendly, unwelcoming, and mean-spirited. Some teachers don't have very good tactics helping students, but there are few exceptions. Bullying is seen as a bad thing, of course, but even with all of the assemblies, lectures, posters telling us ""Bullying bad!!1!!1!"" bullying still happens. Students are scared to tell anyone in fear of people blowing the whole situation out of proportion. The counselors even explicitly said that they are NOT here to help us with emotional problems, they are only here to help us get into college. People here are toxic, period. Don't come here if you have the option."
