Delaware Valley Reg High School Ratings & Reviews
My son has been here since Nov 2017 and is having a great experience.
My student is happy in the smaller setting. It is a small community feeling.
DelVal is a small school with a close community. Parents and Teachers are involved in all of the students activities. From academics to sports the majority of the students are by far some of the most respectful and courteous people I have come across. The students are getting a well rounded education and a great social life. I have seen my son mature and develop wonderful leadership skills which has already put him into some great advancement opportunities.
I graduated in 1984. My 4 years haves at Del Val built a great foundation to enter college and start my future. I am glad I had a chance to do my 4 years in high school at Delaware Valley Regional High School. I would expect Del Val has kept it's great academic statis in NJ. I graduated with 2 students that later graduated from MIT Best Regards, Craig C. Snyder
The principal is far too young and overcompensates by being a control freak. There are rumors about his personal life, be they true or not the kids do not respect him because of it. Failure to pass school budgets leaves the facility in deteriorating condition. It's tough to travel to other schools and see lavish facilities and then try to explain why your kids team doesn't even get a locker room. The Super is overpaid, and lacks any role in the community. Teachers seem to feel persecuted and teach like it. There are worse schools out there I'm sure, but you get the feeling DV could do better.
