This high school has it all. It is top 10% in New Jersey for 2017, and the level of technology and STEM curriculum in this school is second to none. The school has a multi-million dollar maker space, wall to wall room of 3D printers, state of the art recording studio, technology for each student (and more!), the best robotics program in the country and a stellar award winning arts and music program. There are over 21 AP classes, and loads of Honors courses. The board of Ed, School Administration, teachers, parents and community come together to make this one of the top 10% of high schools in New Jersey. You can not go wrong with Mt. Olive Township schools and the High School is the crown jewel. Teachers and parents care, and that makes for a wonderful school community.

Great school, great programs, great academics... we made a mistake of sending our elder son over to Morris County VoTech thinking academics are better there... but in reality MOHS is better bet. I am seeing kids from here go to Johns Hopkins, Georgetown and lots of high ranked colleges. Fantastic extra curricular programs, new buildings are fantastic. There is a new energy amongst the high schoolers, I am seeing a stronger focus amongst them. Our neighbor's daughter told me her Robotics program encouraged her to get into Comp Science... lots of students getting into colleges for Medicine, fundamental physics... the list goes on. I heartily recommend this school.

As a parent of two graduates of Mt. Olive HS I couldn't have been happier with their experiences. We stuck with MO through the hard times when other people were bailing out to go to "better" schools, paying college tuition prices for the like of Delbarton, Pope John, Pingry. My kids were admitted to the highest quality schools, in the Honors programs at Boston College and Hofstra U. The Debate Team, Music Dept. Art Dept, Robotics Program, Sports Program Band are wonderful activities that parents should consider not just for the awards they may or may not receive but for the benefits of participating. My daughter played on a sports team that was less than stellar compared to other local schools. Other families pulled their kids out because the SPORTS program was not good enough! REALLT??? Long story short, my daughter played her sport at a division 1 school. Mt. Olive has come a long way and we are glad we were part of its transformation.

I was surprised to read that a graduate from the class of 2009 posted about their dreadful experience. Being a graduate of the class of 2009 myself, I can say the complete opposite: I loved my experience in this high school a lot. The staff is, for the most part, great. I never felt there were too many rules; the rules set were never difficult to follow and did not infringe upon my experience. The school spirit was also great, especially at football games and pep rallies. I also came to college fully prepared, both academically and socially. I loved this high school!
