MC offers more classes than my student could take in his 4 years. Great slate of honors and AP classes. Fantastic community culture and sports programs. Join Fencing it is awesome.

"Morris Catholic seems like a good fit for the ""average student"" but for students looking to go above and beyond in the STEM fields, this is not the school for you. They offer fewer APs than most other schools and have a very week Computer program. They seem to be focusing more on the liberal arts. I graduated from MC and went to a top ranked Computer Program and had to learn the hard way everything MC failed to teach me."

Morris Catholic is an above average school in my opinion. Academically, the options are limited, though, because there are not many electives to take. The teachers, however, for the most part are willing to help students do whatever it takes for them to get a good grade. The people at MC are what I will miss the most. Over the 4 years, I made some great friends that I really have to thank Morris Catholic for. Everything always seemed like a big family, and everyone knew each other. Sure there were cliques and gossip, but generally most people were friendly. Even though the school is probably 90% white and I'm not, I never felt that race had anything to do with anything at MC. One of my most favorite things about MC was how small the school was. Your guidance counselor didn't just brush you off because he/she had to deal with 1000 other students, at MC, there were only about 100 students in each class. I'll miss MC, that's for sure.

As a student Morris Catholic seemed overly concerned about minute things such as dress code and certain rules. However, in hindsight it really instilled discipline that I believe a majority of public school children lack. I do appreciate a majority of the faculty. Most teachers are willing to get to know and help, but the administration is lacking. The facility is not that nice despite their efforts. Overall a fairly above average school that helps build character and a bargain compared to other private schools in the area.

My son graduated in 2006. He enjoyed MC like any other has it had its drama. We did not see all the benefits of MC until he graduated and went to college. MC taught him not only academically but made him socially aware. He still maintains contact with many of his MC alumni, who have also become adults with a purpose in life. I believe it is because of the faith foundation formed in MC. It is a true faith community with much support from staff and parents.
