My issue with this school is there strict staff with there long lists of rules and demands. Teachers literally hand out loads of detention cards throughout there day. It's a major change From there easy going elem school. My son was so upset his first yr. This yr is even worse. My son cones home the first week complaining of his Lang arts teacher . Then I noticed the fear factor setting in and my son having a nervous breakdown when he couldn't find his hw. No talking policy is off the walls. Ease off the kids with the rules..No book bag during school ..You can only go to your locker 3 times I believe ..so no 3 bells. Literally kids are holding high wads of books and notes from class to class. My son lost so much stuff the first yr. So many rules set into place due to school shootings, safe/no intruder/ halls with locked doors throughout the building and staff seriosly monitoring the halls with walkie talkies . I t like a prison. And unfortunately due to paracc test and the highest levels of violence from school shootings , kids getting jumped and then putting it online for the school to see. It's scary I know...but let's not take the fun out of learning and growing.

My child is doing great at this school. All of her teachers are supportive and care about their students grades. If a child wants to learn, then this is the place for them.

WWMS has in proved for the year 2014 because now they are letting 6th grade join more clubs like basketball and now the 6th graders have a dance. The 6th graders went to radio city music hall in NYC and they went to Dorney Park.

I love this school. My experience has been totally opposite of the last reviewer. I always get a secretary when I call and Ms. Romeo and Mr. Healy are always very helpful. I have had a few issues with my son and the administration is always very understanding. The teachers are good and there are a lot of activities and clubs for the students. I hear it's not the same as it was ten years ago but the kids coming to Woodrow are also much more diverse now. It's a great place to send your child!
