Some people are very respectful, others quite the opposite

I kind of wanted to give it a 2.5, but apparently you can't do that, so let me get right into this.1. The school tries to pass off the food as healthy, and while YES, it's better than most schools, it seems as if they just throw random things together and call it food. For example, "motserellasticks" are lumpy, hard bread tasteless breadsticks with bland cheese stuck inside.2. The Unified Arts teachers can sometimes be unreliable. More than once has one of them given me the wrong papers or directions for an assignment that was VERY IMPORTANT, and I feel like I'm learning how to color in pictures and do word searches than what I'm supposed to be learning.3. Some of the teachers are a little biased towards females. Sure, I get that guys usually get into more trouble than girls, but when the teacher literally says that the girls can work together but the boys CAN'T, (keep in mind, this was before the teacher was even close to remembering our names) it gets a little annoying.4. Some teachers are MEAN. Very mean. If your child is getting on team da Vinci for 6th grade, you're lucky, because almost all the teachers on other teams will not be happy to see your child every morning. I've heard stories that some of them have gone as far as curse at children to get them to shut up.5. Some teachers are just lazy. Don't get me wrong, a lot of them are VERY nice! But some of them will just slap on some internet articles and tell you to write 10 interesting facts about it, which doesn't really teach me anything except how to write, which I'm already pretty good at. 6. Some just can't grade things... I've had a teacher where EVERYTHING, even a little two question paper, was a test grade. You know why? Because they're too lazy to do any harder math, that's why.7. I've had a teacher that takes off 15 points for a single mistake! 15! That A+ you were hoping for is now a B. Thanks!8. Nobody trusts you. You could have gotten in trouble for talking in class because someone was talking to YOU, and all you did was politely tell them to talk after the teacher was done explaining the assignment. Good luck explaining yourself, you'll get a detention for "talking back".So that's my review. There's a lot of good in this school, there really is. But I'm running out of characters, and the bad really outweighs the bad here. Thanks for reading my review.

Loved the selection of clubs and activities. Friendly teachers and staff. All around good middle school.

We love this school! The teachers work hard to provide the best education possible. Sounds to us that some of the concerns listed are personal agenda issues and not really reflective of the school as a whole. This isn't the place to grind your axes. Needless to say the parent that signed his name has also had issues with the town's youth baseball league and other schools.
