Heritage High School Ratings & Reviews

50% of the teachers don't care. Discipline problems get swept under the rug. Guidance counselors do not provide equal assistance to all students who are trying to apply to colleges.

Heritage is a fantastic school. The teaching and administrative staff are fantastic and the community is actively involved in the schools. There are also fantastic electives!

Heritage Rocks! It's a great school that while not perfect is one that is highly engaged in the community and works to truly prepare it's students for the Real World. Loosing Dr. Savage as a principal was a great loss to the school this year but I know the staff and community will rally to continue on as an amazing place to learn.

Heritage High is a great School for your teens, my chid is lucky to have gone to Heritage High School she has wonderful teachers that has stayed after school just to help the students that needed a little extra help and now my child has a 3.8 Gpa and she is going to be a Junior this year she has a great Track and Cheer coaches here at Hertigage High School some are looking at Colleges that would be good for her to continue on running and Cheeing for and possibly get a Scholarship to a good School, so Thank You Hertigage High School for helping and sticking with my child.

We have been extremely pleased with Heritage High. My daughter has been challenged academically by her teachers to grow, and we are pleased with the extracurricular activities that have been made available for her to take advantage of. The principal is outstanding and the only complaints you see on here are from people who wanted special treatment and became angry when their kids weren't treated differently than the rest. It is your child's responsibility to adapt, not the school's responsibility. That's the way it works in the real world too. As usual, there are only about 10% of the parents involved but they do great things with little manpower. Other parents are content to let others do the work. That is the one place where it could be improved. Athletics are solid with coaches who are teachers first, then athletic mentors. The band, chorus and drama departments are all good and there are over 50 clubs for your child to choose from. Everyone can find something. The responsibility is on the child and parents to make the school great. If you want a great school, get involved and be a great parent.
