We have had a positive experience at St. Timothy's School! As a parent you want to know your child is succeeding and growing, and at STS we know our child is. We feel this is by far the best education we could have asked for for our child. It is important that the parents and teachers are a team and that there is open communication from both, and that has been our experience. From the leadership to the teachers to the front desk to those that work the carpool lines, we thank you. Our experience has been wonderful!

What a negative experience our family had, the worst aspect is the level of education. We had to deal with extensive bullying and lack of response by the Head Master, Teachers and Head of the Lower School. Our child received excellent grades in elementary school, but based on the lack of leadership on bullying, we decided to find a new school. Our child was tested at two other private schools (one closely affiliated with St Timothy's) and was denied admission unless sent back a grade! Imagine our surprise as we thought we were in an academically sound environment. We resolved our issue by much extra work with our child, who is know flourishing at a new school. Thanks goodness we moved on. This school thrives because of it's location, not on quality of education.

We have had 3 children attend St. Timothy's collectively over the last 15 years and have been extremely happy with every aspect of this school. They provide a top notch education with state of the art technology, in a very nurturing environment with plenty of opportunities for parent involvement. Each one of my children were well prepared for High School not only academically (they were several levels ahead in all subjects) but also emotionally, physically and spiritually. Sending my kids to St. Timothy's School from K-8th was one of the best parenting decisions I've made!

The administration is nuturing, the teachers are caring, kind, patient, and devoted to the children. There is great parent participation, which creates a very warm and inviting atmosphere. It is academically very strong, without overwhelming the children. The teachers are very mindful of working with children at their academic level, and it is because of the care of the teachers, that my 2nd grader has reading and math skills that are on a 4th grade level. I cannot say enough good things about this school.

Horrible schools in Raleigh area, both academically and socially (Pre-K to 2nd)! Most parents are afraid to write reviews in fear of retribution by Saint Timothy's administration!!! The five stars that you see listed definitely don't reflect our experience. It's very difficult to determine academic qualifications of a school. Our child in elementary school at Saint Timothy's was tested at other private schools nearby and was found to be well behind his peers (always excellent grades at Saint Timothy's). We had to work hard to bring him up to standards maintained by other private schools!
