My girls attended WHE. After moving here mid year the staff and kids welcomed them and they thrived. Many great school activities and great girls on the run program. We choose our home because of the school district. I have personally gotten to know the teachers and they teach our kids because they are passionate and caring. Highly recommend

I have three children at this school, grades K, 2 and 4. They love it and I like all of their teachers.

The teachers, staff, nurse and counselor are all very good at their jobs. I have two students in grades 2 & 5. We have had great success with all of the teachers. They are knowledgeable of current methods, many have National Board Certification, & they really care about the students. It is an interesting demographic seeing as many of the families seem wealthy. There are a lot of northerners who have moved south, so everyone comes in with expectations of how things should be. I am impressed the teachers are able to navigate the different levels of parent pressures as gracefully as they do. Parents are highly involved at the school. The school operations are transparent. Communication has been great from the teachers and principals. Test scores are high consistently. The Iredell-Statesville School district offers many options for school choice especially in the upper grades. I love it here!

We have had a very positive experience at Woodland Heights. My three daughters attend and we are happy with the community feel, the educational aspects and the staff in all areas. I would recommend this school to incoming families.

Woodland Heights is a warm environment with some top-notch teachers. We moved here specifically so that our three children could attend Woodland Heights, and we've been thrilled with the school. The administration is very forward-thinking in their pedagogical approach.
