We had a great experience at this school. Anyone looking to attend should check out the many academies the school offers as well as the Cambridge program (not offered at Hough). Great School, Great leadership, Great students.

We placed our daughter at Hopewell in the Cambridge program although we were zoned for Hough. Principal Gisiano is a dedicated leader who is using data, innovative learning programs and community collaboration to lead this school. Disciplinary issues have greatly decreased, test scores are rising. This school has programs and support for all students, not just the high flyers. Yet there are plenty of AP and Cambridge courses for the students who want the extra challenge. And I love the community spirit of this school. As the student make-up of this school is diverse, my child has the opportunity to experience seeing issues and life from the perspective of others, a skill just as important as passing AP tests. I believe this school is helping to raise good citizens. And the super history/social studies teacher Mr. Bolar rocks, with his enthusiasm and knowledge!

The school leadership does not recognize hard work that students put in after school and even on weekend and even on their summer vacation.

I took my son out of a charter school to put him in the Cambridge program at Hopewell. It was a great move. I really like the diversity at Hopewell. The world is diverse so my son should know how to work with all types of people. Leadership is great too. The Principal seems to want the kids to do well and is there to help. I recommend people take another look at our local High School.

Hopewell has a terrific Principal, Dino Gisiano. Dino cares about the kids at Hopewell and it shows. Over his five years at Hopewell, test scores and graduation rates have improved steadily. He and the teachers have Hopewell on a great trajectory. We have a Senior and Freshman at Hopewell. Hopewell has prepared our Senior well for college. He will be able to enter with multiple credit hours from the successful completion of AP classes (and good AP test scores). He has excelled in the Academy of Engineering and he plans to study Engineering in College. I credit Hopewell for offering such a unique educational experience for him that has fueled this passion. Both our kids participate in athletics at Hopewell and have enjoyed that experience. I am very thankful that the teachers and leadership at Hopewell are doing such a good job educating our kids.
